During the 2021-2022 school year….
~Twenty-seven academic and merit scholarships were awarded to thirteen Eighth Grade students from Bishop Shanahan High School, Padua Academy, St. Mark's High School, St. Elizabeth's High School and Ursuline Academy.
~MAA's Future City Team won three special awards during the Philadelphia Region Future City Competition. They were awarded with "Future World Vision", "Project Management Excellence" and "Attention to Engineering Education".
~Five MAA students won the VFW Patriot's Pen Essay contest, writing on this year's theme, "How Can I Be a Good American?". One student's essay advanced to the State level.
~The Eighth Grade Class organized a school-wide Fall Fest while raising over $1,000 for the missions.
~School families donated to the Giving Tree, which was organized by Fifth and Sixth grade students. Bags of food and treats were delivered to 18 households and 140 people. In addition, 405 treat bags were made for local nursing home residents and staff.
~Ten students were winners in the Knights of Columbus "Keep Christ in Christmas" poster contest, including two First Place winners.
