Monday-Thursday until 5:30 pm
Friday until 5:00 pm
Mount Aviat Academy offers a supportive aftercare program for parents who may not be able to pick up their children at the regular dismissal time of 3:00 PM due to work obligations. This service is also available for occasional situations when parents are unexpectedly delayed.
Pre-K Children: We kindly ask that aftercare for Pre-K students be utilized only when absolutely necessary. Please note that aftercare is not available on half days, as we are unable to meet the required supervised rest time as outlined by state childcare guidelines.
Non-Availability Dates: Aftercare services will not be offered on certain days, particularly before holidays. We encourage you to check the school calendar for specific dates when aftercare will not be available.
Snacks and Drinks: We ask that children attending aftercare bring a snack and drink from home to enjoy during their time with us.
Parent and Student Expectations: We kindly request that all children are picked up promptly by 5:30 PM so that our staff can spend time with their families. We strive to create a positive and relaxed environment, and we ask that students cooperate with staff and peers. If behavioral concerns arise, we may need to discuss alternative childcare arrangements with parents.
Commitment Requirement: To help us plan and provide proper staffing, we ask that families commit to the aftercare program for either the full year or by trimester.
