

Students at Mount Aviat are offered learning beyond the classroom through exposure to and participation in a wide variety of extracurricular activities.
Student Ambassadors
Students in 7th and 8th grade welcome guests and visitors and act as tour guides at Open House, as well as throughout the year.
Science Olympiad
Students in 5th, 6th, and 7th grade compete in team events covering a variety of scientific disciplines.
Future City
Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade create a city in the future that resolves a particular citywide sustainability issue. This is accomplished through brainstorming, researching, designing, and building the city.
Service Club
Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade meet monthly to plan service related activities. Such activities include visits to an assisted living facility, food drives, bake sales, car washes, and a school wide morning of service.
Writers’ Club
Budding writers in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade meet to work on their creative writing, personal essays, poems, and short stories which are then spotlighted during a spring Writers' Showcase.
Choir
Students in grades 5th through 8th may participate in Choir, which includes leading the school in song during monthly masses and special events, such as prayer services and Grandparents' Day.
