Mount Aviat Academy offers a Preschool Program in a loving Catholic environment where children learn to "Live Jesus." Your child will be prepared academically and socially for their future education.
Our Preschool Program welcomes children who are 4 years of age by September 1. Our After Care Program is open until 5:30 p.m. daily.
Preschool students have their own secure building and playground but also have access to the main school's facilities, such as the Library, Science Lab, and Art Room.
Preschool students are paired with fourth grade "buddies" who support learning by reading with them and participating in special celebrations.
Each class will have a maximum of 20 students with a full-time teacher and part-time aide.
Each year, students perform in a Christmas show and Spring musical.
Other fun activities include: a Halloween Party, Thanksgiving feast, Grandparents' Day, Giving Tree, and Step-Up celebration.
A field trip is planned each year.
Preschool students are encouraged to wear appropriate play clothes that promote the Salesian spirit of our school. All students must wear sneakers that tie or fasten with Velcro. Girls may wear one pair of small post earrings (no hoops or dangle). Religious medals may be worn, but play/costume jewelry, wrist/ankle bands, and tattoos may not be worn to school.
