During the 2018-2019 school year….
~ the Class of 2019 earned six scholarships and grants to Padua Academy and St. Mark’s HS.
~ the Science Olympiad team won medals in 22 events at the Science Olympiad Invitational hosted by St. Mark's High School.
~ students participated in a school-wide Morning of Service, in which they packed "to-go" bags and collected socks for the Newark Empowerment Center and made cards for veterans.
~ girls' Varsity Basketball team won 1st place in the CYM Y2 Division Championships.
~ students in grades 3 to 7 participated in a delightful Evening of Sacred Music with singers from other diocesan schools.
~ sixth graders completed the two week D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Program sponsored by the Cecil County Sheriffs' office.
~ MAA's Future City Team was awarded Best Transportation Planning & Best Moving Part at the Philadelphia Region STEM based engineering competition.
~ two MAA Band members were selected for the Philadelphia Area Honor Band, and elite ensemble of students throughout the entire Northeastern Music Program.
~ six MAA students were awarded the local top three prizes in the VFW Patriotic Youth Scholarship Contest.
~ in December the Service Club collected 14 boxes of food and essentials for the Immaculate Conception Outreach Program thanks to the generosity of MAA families.
~ MAA's Varsity Y1 & Y2 Volleyball teams came in 2nd place in their Championship games, while both JV teams brought home 1st place in their divisions.
